I agree about Carl's work. He is truly one of the
unsung heroes of the Fender sound. A vastly underated
guitar player, like George Harrison, who's lead works
are timeless......often times, less notes are more
notes......one doesn't HAVE to be a great player to
play great.....it's like Ivan said....it's the
conviction that makes the music last......ed

Shut Down part II! I know it's later than those instros off of the
first albums, but I think it has a guitar solo through a Leslie (to
tie it in with an earlier thread). So good and such a simple twist on
I IV V.
