Miserlou-Best Version?

Phil Dirt (dirtkfjc) - 16 Aug 2005 13:08:12

Ah, yes. KFWB first hit the airwaves in the twenties (call sign
requested to mean Four Warner Brothers), and by the end of the fifties,
was owned by Crowell-Collier Broadcasting, who also owned KEWB
(Oakland) and KDWB (Minneapolis), all similar sounding, but with very
different playlists.

Hey HB,
That's starting to become one of those songs where I roll my eyes,
and think oh no, here we go again.
But to add to your list of Slacktone and Surf Kings,
The Surf Coasters do a really excellent job with it.
And Yeah The BFF version just absolutlely RIPS.

Well, best and favorite are two different things. My
favorite is Slacktone's.

-i think the 'best' version i've heard is slacktones version, but my
'favorite' version by the beach boys, and yes, because it holds a very
special place. the beach boys 'surfing usa' album is the first album i
ever owned (i'm talkin' 6th grade) and my favorite tunes on it were
the instrumentals............by the way, my name is carol (that's my
pink surfboard on the insect surfers website) :)
