Greetings,
Looking for a great Labor Day show? Mark your calendars for a trip to
Hot-lanta. And believe me it will be hot at the 6th annual
Drive-Invasion at the Starlight Drive in.
Featured Bands include: Big Sandy and His Fly Rite Boys, The Woggles,
The 45's, Johnny Knox and yes, The Penetrators are back on Sunday plus
many more great bands. It's also rumored that there will be a "Rip
Thrillby relaxation lounge" to honor the man who was a major force in
making this event a reality 6 years ago.
The Penetrators will also be performing in Tuscaloosa on August 27th at
Egan's in a tag team show with garage rock stylings of The Vindicators
from Nashville featuring former Phantom 5ive member Bucky G. Lover.
If all goes well, we hope to debut up to 4 new songs. If all does not
go well, then we'll be playing a bunch of great surf tunes that are a
bit more familiar. Either way, a good time is to be had by all.
