Eastwood High-Flyer pics

Shawn Martin (drumuitar) - 27 Jul 2005 20:06:00

I posted a couple pictures of my High-Flyer so you can get an idea of
the differences between it and a Mosrite. I also put a couple updated
pics of my Fernandes in there. I I upgraded the tremolo, pickups, and
swapped out the vintage tuners for Sperzels. Also have a somewhat low
rent "Jazzocaster" decal that I had made for the headstock :-) The
pics are in the "guitars" section of photos.

Very cool, thanks.
How's the tremolo unit on the Eastwood? Any tuning issues?

The trem is a copy of the Univox High-Flyer trem, which is essentially
a knock-off of the Jag/JM floating tremolo. I like the Fender trem
much better. This type has a shorter arm and it's threaded rather
than a push in. I don't use the tremolo that much when I play this
guitar but the Kluson-style tuners seem to be decent enough for light
dips.
