Didn't PDM's "Golden State" come out last year? It was in our best
of 2004 poll. :) I also need to checkout Longboard Ranch.
I've heard a few tracks from The Surfacers and they sound good.
Anyone know anything about them?
Los Cobras just released a CD too (Hi Miller!).
But yeah, it seems like a lean year for new releases...so far anyway.

I'm fairly sure that Surfacers album came out last year. It's really good,
though. Great mix of upbeat and laidback. The guitar layering is really nice,
too--there's more than a hint of the Astronauts in some of the arrangements,
even on the really aggressive stuff.
I forget, did the Insect Surfers' best-of come out this year or last?
