Oops, there is at least one other great '05 release: "Introducing the
High Voltage Sounds of the Reluctant Aquanauts", a CD that I will post
a review of hopefully today or tomorrow. For some reason, i thought
that came out last year, but I just checked the date, and sure
enough, '05.
But is that it? There's gotta be more...

It's not their best, but the Surf Coasters' "Samurai Struck" is a really solid
album.
The Sellcancers' "Exotic Charm" is amazing, though--that one's got my vote so
far for best of the year.

The Phantom Four 'Live at the diepte'
musically awesome, but it's not competition due to low production
quality (but very decent for i cd recorded live with a VIDEO camera, i
should add)
