I played the outsider from the cd for the rest of th band at
yesterday's rehearsal, and it brought smiles to everyone's face. a
great track, you really nailed the trademark sound of the outsiders.
I'm suprized you picked up on Wally Tax's death - did you get the
news he died so poor that Amsterdam bands organized a fundraiser
concert to raise money to pay for the funeral - he was going to ge a
state paid crap funural - like homeless and john does get.
I am at this moment reading an 'in his own words' interview based
biography of Wally Tax, which is dumped for 4 euros in Dutch
bookstores (if you read dutch drop me a line off-list and i'll send
you one) - Wally Tax comes across as a complete prick. From having
met him when we where opening act for the outsiders in the late 90's,
I can confirm he's not among the nicest people to deal with. but what
a creative talent!

Not until now do i actually get what it is you're saying there ...
LMO! (next time you want to shut a dutchman up, you might wanna
typ "hou je bek lul!" ;-) - actually, if you pronounce
the 'hijabeck', you end up with a pretty heavy Amsterdam dialect -
how cool is that?!
