I'd like to thank all the bands that made the trip to Chicago to play
Exotica 2005 event. Madeira from Indy, Exotics from Milwaukee, and the
Nebulas all the way from Boston (or thereabout). What a great time and
great seeing all you guys again. I had a blast and I enjoyed watching
all the bands just as much as playin'. Wow some unbelievable and
increadible sets. Fitzgeralds looks kinda like a hole inside, but what
increadible sound it has. One of the top two best sounding rooms in
town. Also a big thanks to Mike from 9th wave and Brian Neal and
Unsteady Freddy for making the journey to Chicago just to support
surf. It's greatly appreciated. I'll leave the reviews to those in
attendance, but I had a blast and just wanted to say thanks to the
bands for playin for little cash, I hope the crowd made it worth while.
