the entire south eastern part of the US of A is seriously lacking surf
instro bands. my closest surf guitar friend lives 4 1/2 hours from me!!!

The scene does seem to have dried up a bit down there.
I think the Aqualads are still active down in Charlotte, NC
at least I hope so, they are/were a great band.

I believe one of the Aqualads posted on cowabunga a couple months back.
And he said that they have a 3rd cd I didn't know about.

In general, Florida is a dearth for Surf. I found 0 in the Jacksonville
area during my USA treks, but if any Surf band has an instrumental
version of Freebird, THIS is where it will go over very well... :-)
Vodkanauts from St Petersburg
Tarantulas from Orlando
Category 5 and Bongo King are good picks from SE FLA.

REVENGE CD to close out the premier new show I am doing called
ELEMENTAL INSTRUMENTAL on Kids Channel.ca -- more news about that show
once it's up and running -- should be shortly
stunning piece of music too
