These seem like a good deal...1/2 the price that Ed Roman gets for his
Japanese repros. www.zamminc.com Anyone here dealt with these people?
This guy is selling some on eBay too. I wonder how
he's managing to do this? It's not like he's being
sneaky about it, so I assume that they're legit
copies.

They are advertised on Ebay as the "Excellent V-Model" which is the non-legit
version from Japan put out a few years ago and succesfully stopped by the
Ventures organization. They are very well made guitars. He's getting away with
it on Ebay because the ones sold there don't display the Ventures logo. I don't
know if that's a photoshop block-out of the logo or if they actually have ones
without the Ventures logo. If they had the Ventures logo, The Wilson Bros would
have the auction removed as they have done many times because they own the
copyright on the Ventures logo. Zamm does sell the ones with the Ventures logo
at the zamminc.com website. I don't know for how long they will get away with it
on the website.
