Re: -Reverb for Car Stereo'sWas:/mono (mastering to AM)

Jeff (bigtikidude) - 30 Jun 2005 20:29:37

My Dad gave me one of these old Under the dash mount revrb things.
I just wish there was a way to hook them up to modern style radio/cd
players.
He said he used to drive over railroad tracks just to hear it crash.
Father like Sun :)

any tech should be able to do that - they were designed to install
between the radio and the speakers...

-Yes I understand, but this was a mono unit, that had a fader for
front to rear, but it was all just the same mono signal.
Most stereos now use rca input and out put, like using guitar
effects before an amp or in the efx loop.
Actually I should figure out if I can use the tank for a small
guitar reverb, that would make more sense. Or use it to add reverb
to a band whose sound need improvement ;).
and do my own reverb remixes , but it would be over the whole
thing, not just the guitars. But is that a bad thing?
