jaguar buzz + tremolo

Rob Campbell (robmantid) - 28 Jun 2005 16:30:42

I feel like I read recently that adding a "buzz stop" device to a
Fender Jaguar makes the tremolo cease to function, but can't find the
reference. Is this the case? Its academic anyway, since I don't have
a Jaguar, but wanted to ask.
Thanks

I swear by the Buzzstop on my Jazzmasters. Yes, the whammy still operates just
fine.

The only adverse effect the buzz-stop has, is you cannot slide the trem-lok
button all the way into its position to hold the tremolo in a fixed position.
If you can live with that :-), the trem system operates perfectly well with the
buzz-stop in place.

the tremolo doesn't work the same, and also most of the twang of those
guitars are loose.
I tried different set up, but the easiest way to go is changin the bridge
with a mustang style.
no more rattles,no more nightmares.
that's sounds good to me.
