Hello all!
We hope you have been having a wonderful June, and enjoying the
Summer. Now you can make it even better by attending one of the
upcoming Madeira shows!
We'll be playing in Indianapolis on Friday, July 8th at the Melody
Inn as part of another Surf Rock Night, with two very special
guests: the Nebulas from Boston, and the Surge from Atlanta. The
Nebulas are simply one of the greatest surf bands in the world
today; the Surge are a band featuring Sticks Steckin of the
Penetrators on drums and Eddie Katcher of the X-Rays on lead guitar,
and will be performing covers of the Ventures and the Shadows, plus
many of their fine originals.

The next night we will be one of many acts performing at the amazing
Chicago Exotica 2005 all-day festival event! This is sure to be
THEE event of the summer!
The show will feature Los Straitjackets, the Exotics, George Kaiser,
the Nebulas, the Cocktail Preachers, the Neanderthals, and other
garage and exotica performers. In addition, there will be a slew of
related festivities, all of which you can read about here:

These shows will be it for us for a while, as we'll be recording our
debut CD at the end of July, and taking a break afterwards. We're
also very happy to announce that our CD will be released by one of
the greatest surf/instro labels around today, Double Crown Records.
It's a real honor to be a part of the fine roster of Double Crown
bands, including the Penetrators, the Hellbenders, the Nebulas, and
many, many others. With a bit luck the CD should be out in October.
Finally, we'll have our brand-new t-shirts and stickers available at
these two upcoming shows. Hope to see you there!
