I was wondering if many people that played surf guitar also played
ukuleles, because I had a go on an electric one the other day and
putting it through a tremelo pedal and using a lot of reverb it
sounded pretty good. Are there any groups that use them?
I am an avid 'ukulele player. I have a $600 custom tenor uke and a
bunch of others. I've never played an electric one but I have heard my
favorite 'uke player, Jake Shimabukuro, play his 'uke with piezo
pickup with wah pedal, distortion, and other effects. This guy can
play Eruption on the 'ukulele. Check him out.
