finally!
I broke through with SATALLA, this amazing venue in NYC
SATALLA is generally known for presenting "world music"
but I have seen the CALFIORNIA GUITAR TRIO there
wonderful space
it's as if they gave someone a bunch of day-glo paint and some bad
acid, locked him in there for a week....the result is amazing; and
they use black-lights; sounds cheesy, but actually it's pretty
cool; it has a great restaurant too, and terrific acoustics
speaking of acoustics, I am bringing my first show there on short
notice:
THE ACOUSTIC SURF TONES (an exotic surf-lounge off-shoot of THE 9TH
WAVE)

THE ACOUSTIC SURF TONES will do 2 45-minute sets
$10 cover
doors open 7:30 pm, maybe even a little earlier
music should start around 7:45 pm

out -- the usual knuckleheads are nowhere in sight!!
come by and catch some great music and great food
plus the place will give you an 'acid flashback' even if you never
did any acid!!!!
