Hello,
When I was growing up, one of the bands my parents listened to was the
ventures. When I started playing guitar, my dad knew a bunch of cool
guitar instrumentals and he taught me many of them. Anyway, I've been
listening to a surf station on Netscape Radio and they've played
MOVIN' a few times which I love. I rememeber my parents had a
Venture's cassette of it along with some other tunes that sounded like
they could have been done uin the early eighties. There were a couple
of other really cool tunes on there. Does anybody know what this
casstte isand what CD is this now on? I've looked in the
discographies and have found very little that would would help. I
REALLY want to learn to play this and I could get another version but
I'd like the Ventures version. Thanks!!

do you remember perhaps the titles of the other tunes on this Casette?
On this Casette was,is,the tune "Movin'"?

That was probably the "Radical Guitars" album your parents were listening to,
Neil. It can be found on Ebay from time to time and is on CD. If they were
hardcore Ventures fans, it may have been a Japanese release called "Original
Four". The most comprehensive Ventures discography is at

& this guy has pretty well everything the ventures have done . also has ,shadows
, atlantics & others . john
