Hey guys and gals, just wanted to let you all know, in
case anyone is interested, that I'm selling two of my
instruments. The reason is that I just graduated from
college, I don't have a job, I just quit one of the
bands that I'm in and will probably quit the second if
it keeps involving travel expenditures (they aren't
surf bands, so who cares, right?) so I'm thinning my
collection. I'm just not using these things and I'm
in greater need of the money right now.
The one that someone here might be most interested in
is a Yamaha SGV 800 in black sparkle. It's currently
setup with Dean Markley 12's (the largest strings that
the tuners will accomodate) and plays and sounds
great. It's not left my apartment since I got it so
there's really no wear to speak of. I'm asking $300
for it plus $25 shipping in the continental US.
The bass is a Mexican Standard Fender Precision bass,
made in '03 in the limited edition Electron Blue color
that Guitar Center ran at the time. It's a very
bright royal blue, much more blue than midnight (which
is purple) and a good bit darker than LPB or Agave.
It's got some minor dings from handling but has hardly
been played at all. I bought it because I liked the
color. It also sounds and plays great. I have been
impressed with later production Standard Fenders.
Asking $285 plus $30 shipping in the continental US.
