Replacement Pickup Advise

surfrwfma - 15 Jun 2005 22:38:13

Hi All,
I have one of the new Jagmasters 24" scale and I want to swap the
pickguard and pickup assembly for a new one with jaguar style pickups.
Any recommendations on which ones will give me that 60's sound?
Fender makes some MIA RI, MIJ Seymour Duncan has several to offer
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bob

the original is over 40 years old. I bought it from

James

AV == American Vintage, i.e. Fender's high end faithful reissue line
of guitars. AV Jag pickups are made and sold by Fender.

Sorry to be confusing. American Vintage. They are actually called
Jaguar USA on the site, but they are the same as on the American
Vintage series Jaguar guitars.
