well, it makes sense that good old Neil would include a
Reverb Unit in his sound chain...after all, he's a
surf-guitar-dude from way back, isn't he? Wasn't he in
some sort of Canadian instro/surf sort of band a million
and a half years ago or something?

He was in Shadows influenced band. The name was the Squires. They
actually recorded a single and had a session with other songs.

Now THAT'S interesting! I knew about Messina, but not Neil. Does
anybody have a copy? How can we get hold of one? That would be worth
posting. Dave

Jim and Neil were both in Buffalo Springfield. I wonder if they ever
did any surf covers or maybe it was Jim who got Neil hooked on the
Reverb. I doubt there are many copies available. It would be worth
quite a bit if the 45 was unearthed. And one of the guys from 3 Dog
Night used to be in the New Dimension if you are interested in that.
