Shuttleducks play a free show at Streetlight Records in San Jose on June 11, 2005, 3:00pm.

Bronco (ahospodor) - 09 Jun 2005 00:33:12

The shuttleducks, a teen-age retro surf band, fly into Streetlight Records
on 980 South Bascom Ave. in San Jose this Saturday June 11, 2005 at 3:00pm.
Expect to hear wet reverb surf standards like Apache, Wipeout, Telstar and a
few special creations, such as Eleanor's Pipe. Heck, if you just show up in
earplugs and clapped that would provide a lot of encouragement (my wife does
this and we love her for it).
The shuttleducks have played on the radio (thanks Phil Dirt!), local private
events and on the big stage in Streelight two years ago. The 2006 lineup is
Joe (age 14, lead guitar), Robert (age 14, bass), Andrew (age 16,
keyboards). Sometimes they let me play rhythm guitar ;). We are still in
the market for a drum machine, so checkout the cool backbeat shared between
the bass and guitar.
Hope you can make it !

I'm sure you guys can find a drummer... what about the
guy who plays the cymbals in the school band- he is
aching to a rock drummer, I know it. I know this
thread came up a few weeks ago about finding a drum
machine... they are OK for practice or demos, but for
a live show you really need the meat... A drummer will
make all the difference.
Good luck at Streetlight!
