Mark your calendars with pumpkin innards wiped on with a rusty knife- this
Thursday is HALLOWEEN and THE NEBULAS first East Coast performance since
returning home from scary Fresno & the ghoulish, gash-eating open mic
zombies that live there. For one night only, The Nebulas will be playing
nothing but the most spook-surfiest, evil-sounding material in our
repertoire - no happy surf tonight. If a song didn't fill us with a strong
desire to hurt small furry animals real bad during rehearsal, then I'm
afraid we scratched it off the potential set list for this engagement. Fear
not, The Nebulas traditional blend of happy and not-so-happy surf will be
returning shortly, we'll just be all liquored up and pissed off for this
one - the best recipe I can think of for mean surf. We even learned a
ripsnortin' new cover (that isn't The Munsters theme) today & it will be
making its malevolent debut at this show. Come in costume - its Halloween
in Boston for Lucifer's sake - we'll be the guys NOT dressed like a surf
band.
