Many of you already know that George Tomsco and I did
a special performance together at the Atomic Cantina
in Albuquerque, NM on January 23, 2005, with the
promise of a DVD. Well, after working out a reasonable
mechanics royalty plan with the publishing companies
of the disks 22 legendary songs (about 3/4
instrumental) from the Fireballs catalog, the DVD is
now a reality. The result is a very limited release
(sixty).
As this production was not designed for a large
release, it has been determined that the sale of 60
units at $20.00 each plus $4.00 shipping ($5.00
outside of U.S.)would recover the editing and other
costs of the DVD. There are no plans for more units
once these are sold.
About the DVD: The audio and video of this
hour-and-thirty-minute DVD came out very well and
Georges picking skills of his legendary songs are
very visible and impressive. The dialog is humorous
(lots of personality on stage), and the introduction
of each song by Tomsco is very historic to say the
least. Also, the response of the fans that were
present is very enthusiastic.
