Now that the memory of the Friday, May 27th gig at Ottoâs Shrunken Head is
starting to fade, let me publicly thank both the Coffin Daggers and 9th Wave.
We, The Fin-Dicators, were really floored by both bands kindness and generosity.
This is especially true after such a great night took a strange turn at the end.
9th Wave: Thanks for sticking you neck out, having faith in our musicianship and
convincing the promoter to put us on the bill. Although the band has a long
history of performance, this was the first as The Fin-Dicators and as a
surf/instro combo. Mike and Oceana, you guys truly are motivated not by money or
fame, but for true love of the genre.
Coffin Daggers: You made a lot of new fans at the show last Friday, myself
included. I am in the process of forwarding your website so some of our friends
can buy your CDs. Thanks for sharing the stage with us. As a new band, we now
have been shown an example musicianship and character to aspire to both on stage
and off.
So as you can tell, The Fin-Dicators really had an excellent night last Friday
and caught what surfers call âstokeâ? our first time out.
Regards,
