Longboard Ranch CD Release Party - Sunday June 5, 2005

bruce d (wizzbangg2003) - 01 Jun 2005 13:38:26

Hi all:
I've twice attempted sending a forward of Doug Appleton's cool full-color event
poster for our CD Release Party, and for some reason, the SG101 set-up doesn't
seem to permit the forwarding of graphic jpeg images.
To recap, The Longboard Ranch CD Release Party will start at 4PM, Sunday June 5,
2005 at Martini Blues, 5874 Edinger Ave. (In large shopping center at corner of
Springdale). Because there is also an event occurring at the Huntington Pier,
in which the last scheduled band, The Dynotones, are playing from 3:45PM til
5:00PM, and because we do not want in any way to create a conflict with that, we
have specifically requested the Martini Blues management to delay the serving of
the hot buffet from their usual policy of 4-6PM and instead start serving at
4:45-6:45PM, so those who remain at the Pier to see The Dynotones show, who then
come to Martini Blues, will still have plenty of fresh hot buffet to choose
from.
This party promises to be quite well-attended. and both The Great Kahuna, (Les
Perry), and Clint Beachwood will be there. Additionally, we've been told that a
legendary 1960's "Music- About-Surf" vocalist will try to make the party.
There'll be loads of band merch: CD's, T-Shirts and bumper stickers, and during
the evening, about 7:30PM we'll be raffling off a brand-new Ventures Model
Wilson Bros. VM10 electric guitar!
The door charge of $10 entitles you to all-you-can-eat hot buffet, drink
specials, and a free copy of the new CD: "Longboard Ranch Rides Again!".
Longboard Ranch will be performing three sets, about 40 original songs from both
of our CD's!
For any of you who'd like a copy of the CD Release Party Poster, I'll have to
send it to you via direct off-group email, so let me know if you'd like to get
one.

Attachments are disabled for virus reasons, and well, I find them
quite annoying. People in digest mode don't get them anyway. You can
upload your flyer to the file or photo section though.
