Torquays-Road Trip and other out of print CD's

tele2nite - 30 May 2005 20:44:24

I am trying to learn many of the Torquays songs and have looked
everywhere for their CD's. They are nowhere to be found on the
internet. Anyone have any ideas, CDR's, anything? Thanks-Alan

Hey Alan...you are in luck, Golly Gee reissued "A Date With" and "Road
Trip" along with some great live tracks on the album "Return
Engagement, No Cover". You can get it here:
IMHO, their CD "Somewhere in California" is their best, and those live
tracks on "Return Engagement" are great too.

Go to gollygeerecords.com and search for The Torquays. They're sold out of
"Road Trip" but a newer CD, "Return Engagement" is available, and has 12 of the
original 18 tracks on "Road Trip".

Hey Brian thanks-I actually have that book as that's what peaked my
interest. I've learned many of them but want more! I can work most of
their stuff out from listening but I like the tabs.

-Actually Return Engagement is not the complete 2 cd's listed.
Just the Originals from those 2 cd's no cover songs.

Alan,
You may also want to watch eBay and half dot com. I
scored a used copy of "Road Trip!" on the latter.

Thanks Rick-I'd be happy with a CDR on that one!
