Our original 1964 hit Penetration along with Custom Caravan, Bikini
Drag (from the movie Bikini Beach), Record Run and a few other 60's
tunes will be included in the show at the Crazy Horse Saloon at the
Spectrum in Irvine on June 26 (Sunday) We've just completed one of
several rehearsals in Las Vegas in preparation for a night we've
only dreamed about for more than three decades. The band is grateful
to Will Glover for suggesting and producing this reunion as part of
his country show which should be kick-ass bitchin' by itself.
Trivia: Ron McMullen was the original drummer for the Pyramids until
early 1964 when I (Drake Jenkins aka nocmded) joined the group. We
really did not get to know one another until this show was put
together....now you get two drummers for the price of one and Ron
and I have discovered a friendship that is a little late (about 40
years) coming together.
