Hello,
I just joined the group and thought I'd briefly introduce myself. My
name is Jonathan Villegas, 48-yr old guy from SoCal (USA). My website

I'm a bassist/guitarist who's been playing guitar since HS days and
basss since college days. I'm currently in the process of releasing an
album featuring some jazz, jazz-rock music (most are my original
compositions). However...there is one "bonus" track of my surf-style
arrangement of "Georgy Girl" influenced by "The Ventures" and "The
Seekers" original arrangement. So yeah, I still love surf music! I
knocked this off (bonus track) fairly quickly...tracking, mixing and
mastering it over a 2-week period. It was fun and a little cathartic
to just bang away and not worry how to resolve that E-7b5 chord,
etc...
I noticed that you guys did an MP3 compilation album. Very cool! I
hope to contribute to the next compilation project.
