I just saw this on myspace from guitarist Zak:
"Tonight the Treblemakers reunite for a 10th anniversary show,
unannounced, at a private party for (yes I'm serious) the mafia."
"I can't promise that there will be any more shows, but the fact that
the two rehearsals we had over the past week didn't end in a fistfight
is a very good sign."

That's awesome!
I can't believe it's been 10 years; I remember meeting Zak in late '95 when
he was starting up the Treblemakers and I was re-starting the Mel-tones in
Montreal. The Treblemakers were a great band, live and on record. They
captured the best of the Bomboras and the Phantom Surfers, with some Randy
Holden and Jim Messina thrown in for good measure. Let's hope for more!

Kevin,
Thanks for the alert on this important development. Hopefully The
Treblemakers will not end up at the bottom of a lake with cement shoes
and we can get another album from them.
