Hi,
I'll ask this again. Has anyone had a chance to play either the new reissue
Mustang or new Cyclone II? The Cyclone II looks very interesting. It has 3
Jaguar pickups (probably American Vintage reissue ones; I'd doubt they would
gear up a Mexican production for these...and they have the claws too!), a
vintage Strat style trem, and a scale length in between a Strat and Jaguar
(24.75" - same as a Gibson I think).
They look cool and would no doubt do the surf thing well.

Hey gang,
I have played the Cyclone, not the II, and the body feels very
small. The lower bout is narrow, not exaggerated like the Jag/JM.
Great for a kid. It would be cool to swap out the middle pickup on
the cyclone II for a hot Jag Seymour Duncan type. Throw the switch
and blast into overdrive when needed. And orange stripes on the L.P.
Blue.
Might be a good time to get my kids their own guitar.

I had actually considered a cyclone or cyclone II for
myself...you can pick up the cyclones for less than
$300 on eBay now. They look cool but I've never
played one. I know Myra from Gein and The
Graverobbers did at one time.
