I'm with you on the DiPinto. Heck, it's got four pickups. That's one better
isn't it? ;-)
Seriously though, I recently got one of those Galaxies in Sunburst and it truely
is a great
surf guitar. Sounds great with flats too.

Yeah, I've been dying to pull the one off the wall at my local
boutique shop and give it a spin. They never seem to have a suitable
amp and reverb combo to try it with tho'. That one is pretty much
exactly the same as the pictured one, same silver finish and all.
Price is very reasonable, and well, if it's got the Straitjackets
stamp of approval, you can't go wrong with that.
The DiPinto is quite handsome and golly-gee-whiz-neato flashy. I'm
unimpressed with the trem, but that's a minor gripe. I'd definitely
buy a DiPinto Deluxe before I bought a Jag or Jazzmaster. The cool
factor is just heads and shoulders above those guitars.
