I have also the "rare surf vol. 2" comp and agree with all said about
the NOCTURNES, they kick ass and without a doubt "BAHA REE BAH" is
timeless instro classic ! My other fave from the Nocturnes is their
version of "Journey to stars", far out and wild....
Funny, that theres a band from Switzerland called "THE BAHAREBAS", they
just released their album "Jelly Fishing" on Kamikaze records. DOes
anybody listened to that album ?

Yeah, their version of Journey to the Stars is my favorite cover of
that one. These guys had the creepy organ 30 years before bands like
the Bomboras.
