Re: [SurfGuitar101] Re: What are you listening to? / Invisible Men

tfj (toofastjim) - 19 Apr 2005 17:38:46

I saw them once here in the east & Jake was not with them (not sure if he
ever was) - band featured Shane on bass, Dave on organ & whoever replaced
Gregg in the Bomboras (for the three weeks they existed after Gregg left) on
guitar

Lord Hunt and his Missing Finks, a small side project. I don't know
much
about that one, except I think Jake and Dave were in that too, but
someone feel free to add to that.
They released a "split" 7 inch with The Bomboras on the
cologne/germany based "Screaming Apple Records" label. The single is
sold out, BUT there is a cool single/other stuff compilation from the
Bomboras "Swinging Singles" where you can find all singles
["Forbidden Planet" etc.] and some compilation stuff [a surf version
of "Little Drummer Boy" from the Happa Birthday Baby Jesus Sampler].
That CD is a good addition [meaning the sound] to the premium "SAVAGE
ISLAND" debut.
