I was reading thru all this DD / Slacktone spew and came up with the PERFECT
solution!!!
ALL you cats who hate DD or think he's a dick or want to put him down for

I don't think anybody said they hate Dick Dale.
And Neil Young is a good musician. He has a different style of guitar.
He doesn't sound the way he does because he can't a achieve the sound
he is looking for. Listen to his new stuff on Greendale. And Neil was
lead guitar in a surf/instro cover band. His favorite song was Mustang.
Dick's name may be known after 100 years and I hope it is but unless
the guy rereleases his back catalog he won't be known in 100 years.
And Vivaldi was forgotten for a couple hundred years. Maybe all of the
modern Senate of the Surf Guitar will be rediscovered in a couple
hundred years. I swear I heard Intruder in Star Trek once. And Red
Sunrise is in Star Wars. I guess I should have gone with Tsar Wars on
that. Damn me.

And you won't hear me discuss politics until Dick Dale runs for
president. I am actually surprised, knowing what i know now about
Dickisms, that he didn't run for governor last year. Then we would
have had Dick claiming he actually beat Arnold. If I lived in
California it would have been tough for me to choose between Dick,
Arnold, and Gary Coleman.
