okay, this is a long shot ...
anyone on the list knows anything or has bud browne movies,
preferably "surfing in the 50's"?
I've been trying to track it down, but it is only available in VHS NTSC
format, wheras i would need PAL, living in Europe. besides, i have
found no internet store that ships to europe, and here i couldn't find
one.

Are you sure your player can't handle NTSC tapes? In Sweden almost
all VHS players are compatible with the NTSC format unless they are
very old. Don't know about the situation in your country though.
