Hello Guys,
Today I went to a instrument exchange and bought myself a Farfisa
Outboard reverd tank for $140. It sounds incredible. It isn't quiet a
Fender reverb but similar in sound. It has a Lock-unlock switch, a
volume, bass , treble and reverb knob, so also very similar to a Fender
tank.
I know Farfisa builds organs and accordions, but this is not a part
taken from one, but a genue freestanding reverb tank.
This thing has real springs in it and when you kick it, it sounds like
Wipe out by the Original Surfaris.
Kind regards,

Cool....can you take a photo of it?

Hello,
Here is a picture of exactly the same unit I found on the net, mine has
the knobs changed and looks a bit more used.
So far I found out is was originally designed to be used with an organ
or accordion, but is sounds great on an amp.
It is also a pre-amp and makes my Sovtek MiG 100 sound more like a
Fender amp then a Marshall knock off. I bought it because it sounded
like a "real spring reverb" and It wasn't a pricy as the Fender Item. It
was made in 1966, so says a stamp on the spring bed.

-It,s not surprising this sounds so good.
When Dick Dale wanted a Reverb to Sing thru(not play thru) he went
to Leo Fender and asked him to help get his voice to sound warmer
and more vibrato like Elvis. Leo took a Spring Reverb tank out of
some old Organ and put it in a free standing box.
Kinda funny that it has come full circle now.
