Jacob Dobner (jacobdobner) - 12 Apr 2005 22:38:38

I just found this on half.com while I was looking for albums.

I have seen that in stores. I almost bought it, but I had all the
songs already except for the vocal stuff which doesn't really interest
me. And "Bongo Rock"...I don't think I've heard that song before. But
it does come with a Jenny McCarthy poster....hmmmmm. Nah, I don't
think I could hang that up in my house.

Hey! It can't be all bad, the compilation producer was Michael Jackson (but
no relation to thee...)
Surf in Seattle?

I do. I bought it in highschool because all the surf
I had at the time was on cassette or vinyl. It was
spit out following the great Pulp Fiction revival. I
listened to it a lot.

But the real question is do you still have the poster that came with it.

You don't hear much of Jenny McCarthy these days. This brings me
back to junior highschool, and watching that dating show she had on
MTV, I'd tune in just to see what kind of pants she had on, and
would wonder how she got into them!

Funny, I was in highschool at the time and remember
wondering how to get her out of them.
Da-dum-ching! Hooah!
Anyway, I had the Pulp Fiction soundtrack at the time
(I was a highschool...freshman?) and that got me back
into my dad's vinyl and cassette comps. It was Jenny
that drew me to the CD (it's a real piece of eye
candy) but then when I looked at the track list I
wanted it. I asked my buddy to loan me ten bucks to
get it and he immediately refused and started
admonishing me for wanting to spend $10 to get a
poster of Jenny McCarthy in a bikini used to sell a cd
full of music that "nobody listens to anymore."

Oh, getting her out of the pants was another story, but I'd be happy
to share that off-list.

I've got it...one of my earliest surf acquisitions. Poster is on the wall in my
practice studio,
amid my collection of bikini-clad surf babes. Keeps my comin' back to practice.
