Got My Vote Also! Was that Tommi Iommi from Black Sabbath playing the guitar
in the back? I know this isn't surf related but check out this famous clip
that speaks to a whole lotta band stuff. One of my all time favorites

chris, thanks so much for that! I laughed my ass off. The sad thing
is that I think they were totally serious. check out the coked-out
faces on all the players, especially the keyboardist. Damn, the
seventies were a dark, DARK time. (The 'injuns' were easy on the
eyes, though, must admit...)

Now that's classic! Hustle version of APACHE...amazing!
The drum kit said "Splash Band" I think? Couldnt find any info on
this musical troupe...can anyone help me out here?
Also, I have an mp3 of SONNY JAMES doing APACHE -- a VOCAL version! I
am sure people here are aware of this version (there is some twang in
the song a few times) -- but I could use some help here regarding the
LYRICS of the song; did J LORDAN write this song as an instrumental,
or were the words created simultaneously? Or did the words come
later? Could use some insight here on this. If anyone wants a copy
of the mp3, write to me at . Thanks!
