Re: Untamed Youth on TV - US 'distribution'

ipongrac - 08 Apr 2005 13:37:26

Sure, Klas. I'd be happy to distribute five or so; if it gets
beyond that, well, let's see.
Thanks!

I'm still blown away from last Friday night seeing Deke Dickerson,
Big Sandy and the Two Timin' Three.
I know this isn't "surf" but all you instrumental guitarists should
have GREAT appreciation for Mr. Jimmy Bryant, and if you don't know
who the man is, I'd recommend getting some of his stuff with Speedy
West. Anyway, the first band at the show, the Two Timin' Three had
an UNBELIEVABLE guitarist. Jeff Hearing is his name, and he was
playing a Dearmond reissue through a 1x12 Fender Hotrod and he had
the BEST tone. Jeff had all the Jimmy Bryant licks down.
Then up comes Deke Dickerson with that doubleneck TNM, by this point
I've vowed never to play a guitar again. He blew may away as well,
and after he played I gave him a CD, I felt like an idiot, here's
this guy playing unbelievable guitar and I want to give him my
stupid surf band's cd. But, what everyone has said about Deke is
true, this guy not only remembers an email I sent him but he
recognized me from the website. Even if he never listens to it, I
was honored!
