Phil,
Thanks for the link, I haven't laughed that hard in a while.
Fortunately I hadn't eaten anything in a few hours, otherwise I would
have certainly lost anything in my stomach after viewing this
monstrosity.
Also, didn't Fender's failure with "hidden pickups" with their
Marauders, which apparently sounded sooo bad in the prototype that
they never put them into production?
Wow. That's the only way I can sum it up. Wow.
Thanks again for the laugh,
Bill

Hmmm, I sure would like to hear that "Frankenstein"
I'm sure today's technology will allow such "things" but I'm not sure
the guitar player will like the digital sterile sound of it.
It's a bit like the issue with the "spring reverb" pedals, they don't
sound a bit like the real thing, but they aren't bad sounding at all.
The sound is merely a representation of the spring reverb. You like it
or you don't.
Like the Line 6 will probably be a representation of all those guitars
"hidden" inside of it. At first sight it won't be that bad until you
picked up one of the real guitars it represents....
But I'm sure some musicians will do nice things with them :-)
Jerry
What's it called again, the VERYA$$?
