-=Dan Ware=- - 14 Sep 2002 12:44:53

*BEGIN TRANSMISSION*
Hey there everyone...
I just wanted to let you all know that I just posted a sample of a tune
we recorded recently which will be appearing on the Golly Gee Records
upcoming tribute compilation to The Supertones. The name of the tune is
Torque Wrench.
You can find the cut at
That is all...

You're killin' me! That clip sounds great - when does the Supertones
comp come out? Can't wait to hear that tune complete and unabridged!
BTW - your web site is coming along nicely - it's very cool . . .

Hey there Dick!!!
Hey, I meant to tell you...three of the nebulas are AVID snowboarders.
I've been riding for 13 years, and the other guitarist and bass player went
to college together in Tahoe. I like to make Friday-after-work trips to
Wachusett for the 6-10 session under the sodium lamps and stars. On weekends
I like to venture further north and on to bigger mountains. I've ridden all
of New England, Italy, and Austria.
I prefer freeriding and carving at speed rather than pipe or the park.
Sure, if I see a jump I'll hit it, but I dont hike for air. I ride a Burton
Supermodel 168, which is pretty long and wide with a nice sidecut for
carving at speed, and last year I got off of Ebay a Burton Alp 6.3 asym, and
I've got great hardboots for it, but I don't have hard bindings for it, so
thats what I'm currently hunting for on Ebay.
I'm glad you like the new site. I've been working pretty diligently on it
for about two weeks now. I've got to get the merch page completed, and I've
got a million images to scan in for the pics page, but other than that its
close to done. I'm ready to just start making updates rather than working
HTML. Anyways, I'm glad you dig the new tune. We were really psyched with
how it came out. We started by doing their tune "Supertone Surf" but it
turned out as we started figuring it out it was just a 1-4-5 noodlefest, and
we dont really do the "noodle" thing, we like more structure, so we settled
on Torque Wrench. The day we recorded that, we also recorded "Malaguena" but
I have no idea what we're going to do with that. Talk to you later!
-Dano
