that's eggzackly what I had in mind!

You got it just right. They are a very appreciative audience.
They really need the variety.
Not all are elderly; some have been handicapped by
accidents, strokes, head injuries, MS, etc.
So they enjoy something with a little more "cool" factor.
And surf music is upbeat, lively stuff.
Once you get enough tunes down, and smooth enough,
have your hubby ask the activities director if they have
any available slots, and if something like that would work...
It would make a great first "gig". Playing for <any> live
audience, even if it's a freebie, prepares you for other ones.
