Hallmark Guitars

Brian Neal (xarxas) - 26 Mar 2005 10:38:18

I think I posted about this a long time ago, but I stumbled across it
again. Someone is making Hallmark guitars again. As I understand it,
Hallmark was started by an associate of Semi Mosley of Mosrite fame in
the 60's. He made a small quantity of guitars and then folded. These
guitars had a bizarre reverse wing shape. Rick Mills from the Volcanos
plays one in his horror punk band The 3D-Invisibles that he found in a
pawn shop in Detroit in the late 70's. Anyway, someone has got the
name and is cranking out these odd guitars again. Might be worth a
look if you like Mosrite'ish guitars.
Hey I see they have added a History page written by Deke Dickerson!
Looks like interesting reading.

The Stunt Doubles from NC play Hallmark guitars.
They sound pretty good. And look cool too!
