-A big PS
I know there is a cd comp of the 80's Jon and the Nightriders stuff.
But they need to be released seperatly or on 2 fers like the
Halibuts 80's recordings.
I heard from the underground, Dick might Finally release
the 60's albums on cd .

Really? Out now or coming out soon? I'd really like to get a hold of
that early J&TNR stuff, it is so hard to get these days!!!

Do you mean the Jon stuff or the Dick stuff?
The Jon 80's stuff comp. came out like 5 or more years ago on a
German lable, most probably out of print. If I find one, it's yours.
The Dick 60's stuff, just a rumor, no Idea on when.

BTD -
Damn...I meant the J&TNR stuff.....it seems like a good time to
release that early stuff on CD though.
Do you mean Bear Family or Kamikaze? If you remember the label I'll
try to hunt down a copy for myself. Or I guess I could ask John
himself (he used to be on this list when it first started, but I don't
think he ever posted).
True story: John Blair and I almost worked for the same company for a
brief moment in time. I hired in to a company that was owned by a
bigger company that spun John's employer off right before I was hired.
Of course he was in California and I was in Iowa....would have been
nice to see him at the company picnic though. ;-)
