I really don't know for sure.
Right after he left MoAM? he toured with indy band Archers of Loaf on
their "farewell tour" as a 2nd guitar player.
Then Brian C allegedly started up a record label called "The Warm
Super Computer".
The leader of Archers of Loaf started a band called Crooked Fingers,
and Brian may have played a few parts on their stuff, I'm not sure.
Crooked Fingers is on the Warm Supercomputer label.
He wrote the theme song to the Jimmy Neutron movie, but another band,
Bowling for Soup, performed it on the movie soundtrack. His version
appears on the Jimmy Neutron TV show however. You can instantly tell
it's him when you hear it.
I sent an email to the contact info listed at the above site a
looooong time ago asking if it was indeed Brian Causey behind the
curtains, and got no reply.

(One Brian with last name Neal answering a guy whose first name is
Neal as we talk about a guy named Brian).

And to play "6 Degrees Of Star Crunch",
The Cocktail Preachers played with Crooked Fingers in Las Vegas when we
did our west coast tour in 2002. BTW, Crooked Fingers didn't seem to be
too interested in surf music by the response we got from them...

Nope. Just Eric Bachmann, a drummer/banjo player & an upright bass
player.
The band and all their 'people' waited outside till we were done. I
tried to talk to Mr. Bachmann but he wanted nothing to do with us. Ok.
Fine.
We stayed for about 2-3 depressing songs then split to go have Zombies
at Venus (this was before they pulled all the Shag stuff) and go watch
the waitresses in togas at Ceasers.
Man, Vegas has the best looking women at 3AM on a Monday morning.
I love Vegas.
Phil Tiki
BTW,
Here's a link to our friend Poizen Ivy's Sin City Sounds page that she
still has up. She helped us out in Vegas. She's awesome.
(Sorry the pics are so dark. Steve busted the only light bulb on the
stage.)
