Where did you get your Surfmaster guitar? I Love the look and color
of that guitar!

good old Gavin from SG101 list turned me on to the
Retrotone Surfmaster...
a luthier named Carl Petteys builds them...if you are
interested, I can forward Carl's email off list to you.
Basically, only a limited nummber of Surfmasters were built
by Carl...each a different color. The "Mary Kay" pink one
was way too cool...I couldn't resist!
The quality of the Surfmaster is top-notch...and I really
like the "wave" motif in the body design and various accent
pieces.

made, I think,
7 or 8 of them, all slightly different as he was tweaking the designs. DP bought
his Mary
Kay Pink version shortly after I got mine. Price is whatever Carl says it is! I
don't know how
long its been since I wrote to CP, maybe a year. Please give him my regards and
tell him
