Hey So. Cal. surf nuts. Here is a list of everything I know of goin'
on from Wed. evening to Sun. afternoon. Or anyone who wants to visit
and catch a show or 2
Sorry for lack of details, but if ya wanna go, I'm sure you'll find
out exact times and whereabouts on some of these.Or maybe the bands
will give more info in seperate posts.
Wed.21st(evening) Torquays- Orange Concert in Park, 7-8:30pm, Hart
Park bandshell, 701 S. Glassell, Orange, free
Wed.21st(evening) Hillbilly Soul Surfers at Baja Cantina in Marina
Del Rey from 7 to 10 pm probably 3 sets(very cool,gotta see them)
Wed.21st and every wed. till the end of Oct. Detenators at Chuys
in the Valley from 6 till 10(I believe)
Thur.22nd(night) Insect Surfers at the Lava Lounge in Hollywood 2
sets from 11:00 pm till 1:30 am on Highland Between Sunset and Holly-
wood Blvd.
Fri.23rd(evening/nihght?) Banned from the Beach in Simi Valley,
forgot the info maybe they can repost:
Sat.24th (morning/afternoon)Torquays atUptown Whittier Car Show,
10am-2, free
Sat.24th(afternoon/evening) King Kukulele and the Freaky Tiki's
(Hawaiian/Lounge/Comedy) very cool I've seen them twice(very short),
this will be the perfect time to catch them at this all evening show
at Baja Cantina for some type of Luau/Hawaiian party from 5 till 10

Sat.24(evening/night)-Slacktone in Sierra Madre, CA - Sierra Madre
Rec Center 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd, 6pm-10pm Sierra Madre Surf Club
Luau complete with Polynesian drum and Hula Exhibition!
Sun.25th(afternoon) The Mystic Knights of the Sea at the Surfing
Museum in Huntington Beach(I believe this to be the band playing-
although their have been some schedule changes there so it's up in
the air. But they are fair so you might wanna check them out.
There might be more, but that is all I can think of as of now.
Isn't that enough??? well maybe(ha!!)
