Well... if you put the Ventures in the RRHOF...then you'll
need to add Dick Dale and Paul Johnson...and those idiots
at RRHOF don't even know who those guys are either...can
you imagine, never hearing of the freakin' Ventures, Dick
Dale nor Paul Johnson? What a pitiful shame.
But, I would definately add The Ventures on the merits of
Mel Taylor's rockin'g-cool drumming alone...pure and
awesome drums!

This kind of thing is happening because the music industry thinks
instrumentals don't matter anymore. And until they change THAT outlook,
the status quo will continue.

the RHOF do actually have something against instrumental music. I
can't remember who or what her affiliation is but she has something
to do with Rolling Stone magazine. Which would explain why Link,
Dick and the Ventures are not in.
