mosrite-harley......and the others....

Bruno - 25 Feb 2005 11:17:52

I red those topic s,and I start laughing ,as 15 year owner of those H-D,and
remembering very well all those problem with them, more time with the hands on
the engine than on the handlebar,so it seems to me funny reading about
Mosrites(which I love ! but too overpriced here in Italy,5000$...)as guitar
shape lovers I love my jag&jazz, exspecially now that I trew from the window
those bridges..it recalls my harleys problem...ever......
ok,now I sold my springer and get a speed triple triumph,at this time problem
0,mustang bridge..problems 0,just getting for 400$ a red sparckle yamaha sgv
800..let me check if I could find something wrong with it,btw living easier is
better.
who's playng yamaha sgv 800 out there, which amp are you using,I try just 30
min,with a little solid s. amp,what with a 100 watt mule?

You must have a pretty old Harley? Harleys now a days are reliable as the next.
I do ride with a bunch of Gold Wingers and the last time someone teased about my
Harley, he broke down and I gave him a ride home on my Harley! True story! I put
300,000+ miles on my 1986, never opened the engine. Replaced tranny at about
150,000, other than that just tires and a couple belt drives. I am now
approaching 100,000 on my 1993 Ultra Classic, again no mechanical issues. I sold
the 86 and the guy is still driving it!
sorry for the slightly off topic.
Stewd....................
PS I owned and used an original 1965 Mosrite which I played for years and loved
it. Presently use a Ventures model bass which is in great shape, although I will
admit it is not my Favorite guitar, but it is up there on the list.
