Sitting here back East watching these news reports of the horrible mudslides,
sink holes, and other damage done by the rainstorms in Southern
California.......
Cannot help but think of our surf-rock and music brothers and sisters living in
Southern California -- so I just thought I'd send some good wishes to everyone
affected by this......
Unsteady Freddie
P.S. why not check in and let everyone know you're OK?

Wow, thanks. OK here, but a lot of our neighbors need the well wishes.
The surfers are still out, though!

There was something on the news this morning about a possible tornado
coming onland from Huntington Beach and heading up to Anaheim.
So Like a dummyI stuck my head outside and watched as a very
ominus(sp?) looking cloud pass nearby as little bits of it had
slight swirling tails coming down. Nothing happened and it passes
with tons of rain.
And On the news they said it had the possibility of causing a
tornado, but never was seen touching down anywhere.
Can you say "Toto, were not in Kansas anymore"
Also I heard we've gotten more rain than Oregon or Washington state
so far this winter. Crazy!!!

We're getting close to the old record set in the 1800s, according to USA
today.

Local news says large hail stones are on the way!
For the surfers:
Here is a swell report
How about Marty? I hear your area is pretty hard hit as well.

Oh yeah, Kristena,
We've been hit hard and I have suffered some flood damage. My guitars narrowly
escaped. With several months left in the season, I'm thinkin' we'll set that new
record for rainfall. On one hand, I feel silly mentioning it. I mean it's bad
but it ain't no Tsunami.

Up here in Seattle we literally haven't had a cloud in the sky for
about a week and a half to two weeks and isn't supposed to change for
another week and a half. It isn't very warm though.
