Hey!!
I like to invite all of you to visit our web site. This is a little about us:
"Aventura Sob o Céu" is Go!'s maiden flight, a 99% instrumental
trio born and bred in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Formed in the beginning of 2000,
they have gained surf and surf music communities' approval. Having played in the
major cities around the country, they had a couple of their demo songs featured
in Rip Curl surf videos' soundtrack.
The influences, other than Dick Dale, The Ventures and the like, are
videogame tunes; the formula used in the 16 tracks brings together the old surf
beat and 8-bits programming.
Gabriel Thomaz (guitarist and singer for Autoramas) produced the album, with
the major concern of enriching this production by exploring an infinity of
timbers.
"Aventura Sob o Céu" is the 1st band released by the Navena Muzik label
As one can judge by the cover, this CD has a whole 8-bits thing going on; all
of the art conception goes along with this aesthetics. It's a recurrent theme in
the tunes, almost an obsession. Comes from the fact that videogame music rules
and the power abides in ALL of the 8-bits!
The Japanese inscription was not made up, "[an] adventure underneath the
skies" - try and say it: OZORA NO BOKEN.
There are 16 tracks in this first CD, 14 of them being our own compositions;
Ninja Gaiden II 3-2 is in fact the tune for this game in the second part of the
third stage, and Where do the puppies go (when the pet shop closes)? was made by
Daniela Hunter,

I've already got dibs on the theme from Double Dragon
for the 8-bit Nintendo. You hear me? It's mine I
